We approach Pride Month as an opportunity to recognize and support 2SLGBTQ+ voices, culture, and rights.
We celebrate Pride by making commitments that support the 2SLGBTQ+community in our offices and in our communities throughout the year. A few ways we’re showing our Pride this year include:
Donating Time: St. Pete Aligners volunteered at the Shades Of Pride (2SLGBTQ+ Juneteenth Celebration) on June 17th.
Donating Funds: Align HCM donated funds to the 519 in Toronto to help support programs that foster health, happiness, and a safe space for the 2SLGBTQ+ community while working to promote inclusion, understanding, and respect.
Educational Training: We offer year-round access to our Rise course “Beyond Pride: Year-Round Action” that contains practical advice for organizations and individuals who want to live out inclusive values and remain committed to advocacy year-round. Our operations manager, Kristopher Kobernus led a lunch and learn for our team during Pride Month.
Use of Pronouns in Email Signatures: We offer education to our team about the benefits of using pronouns in an email signature and encouraging our team to add them to their signature lines.
Pride Month isn’t just about changing the color of our logo.
It’s about promoting full 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace. We use this month as an opportunity to celebrate Pride through education, advocacy, and fun that can create impact throughout the year.
