Growing a team across two countries in the middle of a pandemic means that in-person meetings aren’t always easy — or possible at all. But, we finally made it happen!
The Align HCM team gathered in October 2021 for our first all-team meeting, which we called “Alignapalooza!”
Team members from across the United States and Canada gathered in St. Petersburg, Florida to reflect on the past, plan for the future — and finally meet each other in person.
Many members of our team were meeting in-person for the first time, despite some of them working together for months or even years.
It was great to get our team together to work and have a little fun.
While we have an office in Downtown St. Petersburg, it wasn’t big enough to hold our whole team, so we took over the top floor of Station House St. Pete.
We discussed strategic plans for how we can continue to provide the best experience and solutions for our UKG™ (Ultimate Kronos Group) customers. We also reflected back on lessons learned and celebrated the successes and promotions of our amazing team members.

We also made sure to get out and enjoy the beautiful sights and weather in sunny St. Pete.
Our welcome party was along the water at Pier Teaki on the new St. Pete Pier. We enjoyed participating in Bowls for Good, a bowl-turning workshop that benefits art outreach programs for at-risk kids and food insecurity programs in St. Petersburg. And, we ended the trip with a dinner and craft cocktails at The Urban Stillhouse.
It was a great time getting the team together safely (we all took COVID-19 tests upon arrival) for team building and planning.
While our entire team wasn’t able to make it to this year’s event, we are already looking forward to Alignapalooza 2022 when even more of our team can come together!
